Happy New Year!


Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a great Christmas Holiday.  I know I did.  Lots of cooking and grandkids.  It was really a fun time with family.  And now the new year is upon us.  So, I decided to make a New Year's card.  And it is just in time for Creative Craft Challenges 2 Anything Goes Challenge.  I used New Year Marci from La La Land Crafts.  The sentiment is one of two that came with the stamp.

Elf Up and Away


Wow! I can't believe Christmas is almost here.  I finally finished my shopping, but still have a couple of things to put together.  And I have nothing wrapped yet.   I have made my last Delightful Thursday card for 2013 for Digital Delights.  But, I will return in January 2014 with a another new release for Delightful Thursday

For my card today I used Elf Up and Away.  What a cutie!  I paired him with paper from the Holly Jolly Digital Paper Pack.  Then I used my Copic Sketch markers to color him up like the paper.  My sentiment is from the Christmas Hugs Sentiment set.  All of these can be found at the Digital Delights Digi Shop.

White on White


There is a new challenge today at Creative Craft Challenges 2.  The theme is White on White.  We have a wonderful sponsor for this challenge.  And that is Pink Gem Designs.


For my card I used white cardstock from Georgia Pacific.  For the first layer I used Stamping Up Petals-A-Plenty Embossing folder.  The second layer is stamped with SU set Snow Swirled.  The tree is embossed with Winter Wonderland Embossing Powder from Stampendous.  Gems from my stash were placed on the tree.  The ribbon is also from my stash.  The sentiment is also from the Snow Swirled stamp set.  It is stamped with SU Baked Brown Sugar and punched out with SU Scallop Oval punch.

Donny and Slippy
